According to Czech law, drivers must have winter tyres on their cars in the event of a continuous layer of snow or frost on the roads at any time between the beginning of November and the end of March. Photo credit: Pixabay.

Brno, Oct 26 (BD) – The weather may change from day to day, so drivers should be thinking about making an appointment at their local tyre service, especially when planning longer trips.

If a car is being driven with summer tyres on a frozen road, police can issue a fine of up to CZK 2,000 or prevent the driver from continuing their journey.
