Brno, Nov 10 (BD) – The Czech government has issued a special resolution for the nationwide ringing of bells, as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by the victims and veterans of the Great War.

In Brno, bells will ring at 13:30 for 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

Poppies will be available for a minimum of 30 CZK, with proceeds going to “Memory of the Nation”, a project which collects and records the memories of participants in the second and third resistance. Poppies can be bought at many different locations in Brno, such as the Moravian Regional Library, Kounicova 65, or the Mendel University Library in Building A at Zemědělská 1, or from one of the volunteers selling them on Sunday in the city centre.
