The MINT Brno Fashion Market, already in its 33rd edition, will help shoppers find original products straight from the creators, as well as workshops and refreshments. The aim of the market is to support local craftspeople and fashion designers, and promote the concepts of responsible shopping, slow fashion, and a return to the original, more personal form of sales. “Here [at the MINT Market] you won’t find goods from China, fake imitations, or cosmetics full of oil,” said Kateřina Pletichová, PR manager of MINT Markets.
Entry is free, and visitors will find clothing, jewellery, accessories, design and local folklore items, and cosmetics. Non-profit organizations will also be present at the festival. “Choosing vendors was difficult this time, but I think we managed to create a very interesting mix. That’s why you shouldn’t miss this edition,” explained festival director Zbyněk Hanko.
This weekend, Christmas shoppers can avoid the crowds and make more sustainable fashion choices. “Go to Zelný trh, and when it gets cold, come and warm up at our market. You will find two floors with 80 carefully selected stalls and a perfect atmosphere. And you’ll get all your Christmas shopping done a month early,” added Hanko.
