Brno, Nov 28 (BD) – Napoleon Bonaparte led the French army against the Russian Tsar Alexander I and Austrian Holy Roman Emperor Francis II at Austerlitz, known as Slavkov in Czech. This weekend, a special program of events will be held at the former battlefield and its surroundings to commemorate one of the biggest Napoleonic battles.

The main highlight of the day will be the re-enactment of the battle, with nearly 1000 participants in uniforms, 60 horses and 15 cannons.
