Brno, Dec 7 (BD) – After several days of eating Christmas candy, Brno residents will be able to access various sports facilities for free from December 27 to December 29, including the swimming pools at Lužánky, Ponávka and Kraví hora, the Kohoutovice Aquapark, and the Spa and relaxation centre on Rašínova.

Fans of ice skating can visit Za Lužánkami Ice rink. Stadium Sokol I. on Kounicova, Hudy Climbing wall on Vídeňská and Minigolf One on Cimburkova have also joined the project and will open their doors for free.

Sports centres have prepared a special programme for visitors of all ages.

Advance reservation is required for some venues. “Due to huge interest from the public, reservations for Kohoutovice Aquapark and the Spa and relaxation centre on Rašínova opened on Wednesday, December 5. I would say the highlights of the programme are exercises for seniors in Ponávka swimming pool, the opportunity to try paddleboarding in Lužánky swimming pool, and the water slide competition,” said Jaroslav Suchý, the council member responsible for sport and education.
