Brno, Dec 18 (BD) – According to reports from Czech Television, the cuts are a result of long-term financial difficulties. The TV channel tweeted that in the worst case scenario, Zetor will cut up to 260 staff, nearly half of the company’s current workforce.
The history of Zetor tractors began in the post-war period. The first Zetor tractor, the legendary Z 25, was christened on March 15, 1946, and Zbrojovka Brno staff held a small party. That same day, the first three Z 25 tractors were delivered to customers. Nowadays, the company ships tractors to the whole world. The company celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016.
