Brno, Mar 7 (BD) – Datank’s “City For Business” report analysed the entrepreneurial potential of every municipality in the Czech Republic, and awarded regional “Best City For Business” awards based on their research. Datank’s analysts rate each municipality according to two main categories – business environment and public administration. The research incorporates all important information and statistical data related to the development of the business environment in the Czech Republic.

Commenting on the results, Tomáš Koláčný (Piratí), Deputy Mayor of Brno, said: “The city has a systematic long-term focus on the development of the business sector in Brno, from support for start-up entrepreneurs in incubators, through business missions for small- and medium-sized businesses, to regular meetings of city management in business zones. The business community is an indispensable part of the future development of the City of Brno. I appreciate the award as the result of the good work of people who work with the private sector on a daily basis.”

The prize was awarded to the regional meeting of the Union of Towns and Municipalities, which took place on Tuesday 5 March 2019 at the Congress Center at the Brno Exhibition Center.
