Brno, Sep 16 (BD) – The first of the upcoming projects will allow visitors to the zoo to use the more convenient access point from the temporary parking lot in Knínice, while the new entrance is being prepared.
Visitors can follow a new path to the Klondike exhibition. Brno’s Klondike is styled as a small gold-hilltop settlement with a stream, where visitors will be able to try panning for gold. A new cable car stop has been installed behind the Klondike path, which takes visitors to the African village at the top of the hill.
Another novelty is the Prehistoric Trip, an exhibition with static and moving models of prehistoric animals. According to the official press release, the zoo is expecting the exhibition to attract up to 100,000 new visitors per year.
