Tržnice Brno in Zelný trh will be the venue for a tasty street food festival this weekend. Ochutnej Afriku v Brně will come to Brno to present the best fresh fruits and specialties from Africa.
Visitors will be able to taste baby bananas, mango, passion fruit, buttery avocado, pineapples, red bananas, and spices, alongside other fresh fruits from Uganda and Zanzibar. Fruits grown in the African sun will sweeten up the lives of food lovers the whole day.
Alongside fresh fruits, visitors can enjoy coffee, nuts, and chocolate from Africa. Grilled bananas, guacamole, smoothies, and pressed sugarcane are among the other specialties on the menu.
This feast of exotic tastes is presented by Virunga, a Czech-Ugandan food project that imports fresh African fruit.
