Brno, Oct 29 (BD) – From the ten names selected in the September vote, Brno residents picked the winning proposal in October. The process of choosing the new name ended on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic.

The most popular names according to the competition website https://kopemezabrno.cz/nadrazi/.
“The winning name for the new railway station […] will be sent to the SŽDC (Editor’s note: SŽDC, Railway Infrastructure Administration, is the state company that manages the Czech railways), which will decide on its future use,” said Filip Poňuchálek, spokesman for the City of Brno, on Monday, October 1.
