A new survey of InterNations among expats in 65 countries shows that the Czech Republic is a great place to work!

Brno, Sept 14 (BD) – In the Working Abroad Index 2017, introduced by InterNations on-line expat community, the Czech Republic ranks very high overall rating. The absence of stress at work and work-life balance make expats in the Czech Republic the ones of the most satisfied in the world.

Working Abroad Index compares job satisfaction among respondents from 65 countries. The survey annually gathers feedback on several factors in three main categories:

  1. Job & Career
  2. Work-Life Balance
  3. Job Security

Czech Republic ranks 4th in Job & Career, 11th in Job Security and 4th in Work-Life Balance in expat worldwide survey.

75% of expats in the Czech Republic expressed positive feeling about their career and 78% feel confident about the general performance of the Czech economy.

Three-quarters of respondents are content with their working hours. A full-time employed expat in Czechia works 44.9 hours per week on average.

Only 9% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction in the Work-Life Balance category.

InterNations quotes in their survey a US expat in the Czech Republic: “This (the Czech Republic) is not a country of workaholics.”
