Lipstick, high heels, fashionable clothes and, of course, a runway. Those are the secret ingredients for a well-spent Saturday evening at the event Little Night of Fashion Brno [Malá noc módy v Brně II].
The second edition of Little Night of Fashion Brno will include the presence of more than 20 enthusiastic independent designers and emerging artists and brands.
An evening full of inspiration, fresh collections. The event is special because students from different creative fields will be able to introduce their art work.
“This event is quite unique, because it presents independent local fashion designers as well as students’ projects from many art schools from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. There ares going to be about 20 designers involved this year, some of the collections are collaborations between fashion designers and students of architecture and painting,” one of the organizers of the event, David Severa says.
During the event, there will be presented the work from designers such as Open Cabinet, Eliska Prausová, Alexandra Pospiechová, Severa and Katarína Mydliarová.
Little Night of Fashion Brno came from students of the art school SŠUD. The idea was to create a project where they could show their artwork.
“[Little Night of Fashion Brno] was meant to be an open creative playground from the very start, so we’re really open to trying alternative fashion formats, such as performance, video art and installations,” David Severa explains.
After the event, the celebration continues in an after party, full of music with the help of DJs.
Last year, Little Night of Fashion Brno received positive reviews. “People were happy to see the works of local students in a very first big event. It was the first fashion show for most of us, there were some mistakes, of course. What made us really happy was the fact the event was sold out in 10 days, it really gave us a burst of energy and a solid reason to continue the work!” Severa says.
Tickets are sold out in the official website, however there are people selling tickets in the comment section of Facebook page of the event here.
“The event is completely sold out at this point with about 300+ tickets. We really need to get a bigger venue next time,” Severa says.
