In recent years, plenty of people have been seeking a peaceful life in the countryside. But this wasn’t the case with Emma Bovary.
The story of an unhappy married woman running off to the city only to find herself miserable in the end is from a well known novel of Gustav Flaubert called Madame Bovary.
If you did not get the chance to read it in school, you now have an opportunity to see it live in the theatre.
Directed by Ivan Buraj, Madame Bovary is being staged at HaDivadlo on Friday, February 23 at 5:30 pm.
The regular ticket price is 290 CZK, but it is only 190 CZK for students and seniors.
Texts in English will be provided.
