Brno, Apr 25 (BD) – The city’s transport company is looking for skilled workers, such as locksmiths, plumbers, and mechanics.

“From the winning pupils we demand good grades, good attendance at school and, above all, reliability. Pupils can receive up to CZK 45,000 over a three-year study programme,” general manager of DPMB Miloš Havránek was quoted in the official press release.

At DPMB, secondary school students have been doing internships since 1986. The transport company provides long-term internship programmes to the pupils of three Brno secondary schools.

“Through these activities and involving pupils in practical training, DPMB strives to recruit high-quality staff for the future,” Havránek added.
