Galerie Vaňkovka shopping and social center was festively opened on the 23d of March, 2005. It was built on the borders of historic downtown Brno, directly between the train station and the bus station.
There are 130 shopping units with the total sales area of 37,000 m2 located alongside the glazed shopping arcade in the first and the second floor. The next two floors contain 1,000 parking spaces and technical hinterland.
Galerie Vaňkovka offers everything; from groceries to fashion, consumer electronics, entertainment, gastronomy or services and thus creates a very attractive mix of shops.
