Marta Drama Studio is where students of dramatic arts of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts present their plays.

The concept of this theater lies on three basic propositions: Marta as part of the theater scene of Brno’s cultural life;  Marta as classroom, laboratory and workshop for students and teachers of the JAMU Theater Faculty and as a simulator of professional theater.

Marta Drama Studio is currently an undeniable part of the cultural scene in Brno, as well as an important part of the cultural events in the whole Czech Republic, with an international reach.
Marta Drama Studio is located near the Lužánky Park, on Bayerova Street, in the basement of a house built in the early 1930s. JAMU students have been performing since 1952.
