The Toy Museum opened in October 2010, when the Brno City Museum – after a successful exhibition of Milada Kollarova at the Špilberk Castle in 2007-2008 with the name “A view into the exposition: Toys never get old” – enabled Milada to use the space of the Měnín Gate for the exposition of historic toys.
The Toy Museum is the ideal choice for everyone, young and older visitors. It invites the adults into a world of warm and kind childhood memories. For the young generation is a good chance to see what was the toys their parents and grandparents used to play with.
The regular price for the ticket is 60 CZK and the reduced one 40 CZK. Family tickets are also available for 140 CZK. You can find all the detailed information about the tickets here.
“At the exhibition of historic toys from my collection you will be able to take a look into the world of toys of many generations. This way, I have been trying to illustrate a part of our cultural heritage,” Millada Kollarova.
