Swinging in a hammock under the trees, roasting marshmallows over the fire and watching the night sky are must-dos this summer. It’s time to escape the boiling city center and head to one of Brno’s campsites and enjoy refreshing moments in the nature.
Chill-out in a campsite located just a few minutes away from the city center. Camping RADKA is a 5000m2 site just by the waterside of Brno Reservoir. Enjoy some peaceful moments near the forest or get active. You can find tennis, ping pong, mini-golf, volleyball and exercising facilities in the surroundings of the camping. If you want to beat the summer heat, you can use the swimming pool or go surfing. There is also the option of renting a boat or pedal boat and explore every inch of the lake. If you don’t own a tent or camping equipment you can rent it there.
Camping by the river. Hana camping is one of the best options if you are planning on camping near Brno; just 20 km away from the city by the riverfront of Svratka river. The surrounding of the river features amazing natural landscape and many options for activities like hiking, cycling and climbing. The camping is highly equipped with sanitary facilities, Wi-Fi, kitchen and laundry appliances and facilities for children. The campsite is just 1 km away from Veverska Bityska where supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and ATMs are available.
Do you like the cute little wooden cabins? Drive 15 km away from the city center to Ostrovačice. There you can find two beautiful camping sites. Camping Alpha with wooden cabins and camping Oaza with beautiful facilities and a pool to chill during the hot days. They are both near the most well-known sights of the area; Veveri Castle, Namest nad Oslavou Castle and Rosice Castle. Both are easily accessible by the highway exit to Ostrovačice village.
