Brno, July 31 (BD) – A construction of the new water park – Lužánky Aquapark – is a fact now. Last Tuesday, the Brno councilors agreed on the future shape of the new water park hall. Four variants were presented, including one recommendation from the Brno City Architect’s Office. The picture above represents the preferred roofing design.
First Deputy Mayor, Petr Hladík shared on Brno.cz that the new water park will be built up next to the current indoor swimming pool. The water park will offer a designated car parking area and access to other sports facilities. A 3D model and visualization will be available soon.
The original indoor swimming pool near Lužánky park is currently undergoing reconstructions, which will soon offer a wellness center and another 25 meters long pool by the next year. You can find the tips for great swimming facilities in our article Beat the Heat – Swimming in Brno.
“After the implementation of the plan, we want to start building the water park. We would like to support the development of swimming sports and to modernize the whole area,” added Hladík.
