One of a Kind Home-Made Ice Pops from Husova Among the Best Ice Creams

Brno, Sep 5 – When walking around Brno, stop by in Prague and taste never-ending summer. Café Prague (Kavárna Praha) in Husova Street in Brno offers yellow melon with dill, pineapple with coriander, grape with Spanish anise liqueur and much more popsicle flavors every day. They do not let summer vanish with couple of rain drops.

Huge demand for uncommon tastes

“Perfection on a stick. Original ice pops which make people of Prague travel to Brno,” Forbes claims about Praha café’s ice pops in its article about the best ice cream places in Brno and Prague.

In one batch, ice-lolly creators produce 150 items and the most demanded are gone in a few days. It happens that people line up to taste these original flavors.  “We create new tastes every day, hence there is only slight chance for our customers to come across the same flavor twice.” Klára Eliášová, one of creators says for Masaryk University news portal.  These unique ice-lollies are made out of seasonal fruits, sometimes with biscuits, nuts, or even a drop of alcohol. Have you ever had a popsicle which tastes like poppy seeds with white chocolate and candied orange peel, cherry with Belgian sour cherry beer or apricot combined with Earl Gray tea?  Café Prague (Kavárna Praha) opens horizon of your gustatory perception.

Inspired by Italy

It was Klára Eliášová who started to produce home-made fruity popsicle three years ago. Then the opportunity emerged to offer them in a new architectural café in the premises of 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media in Husova Street and she didn’t hesitate. The idea of super-original flavors and balanced ingredients in ice cream on a stick popped up in her head during the stay in Italy. She felt, the Czech Republic lacks such icy sweets. Initially, she produced only few ice pop molds, and a small freezer was enough to store them. Soňa Borodáčová joined “ice pop” club and now, they both contribute to the flavored madness that these exceptional ice pops created throughout Brno.
