Brno, Sep 17 (BD) –  More than ever, schools are adopting the system of two-way immersion educational programs that break the traditional way of learning a second language. There are a lot of benefits in this learning method when started at young age, according to the research.

A Harvard study found that learning other language at a young age “increases children’s creativity, mind flexibility and critical thinking skills,” a headteacher Catherine Ford told UK daily Telegraph.

Bilingual programs are not all about mastering two languages. It brings long-term social advantages as empathy, positive cross-cultural understanding and in the future, it opens up employment possibilities. In the cognitive field, it reduces signs of brain atrophy responsible for disorders such as Alzheimer.
