Zoo Brno to donate one crown per visitor to help sea turtles in Indonesia

Brno, May 31 (BD) – On Wednesday, Brno City Council decided to contribute CZK 308,112 to the International Turtle Rescue Project in Indonesia, the City of Brno press centre reported. In 2017, a total of 308,112 people visited Zoo Brno, which corresponds to the donated amount.

The money from Zoo Brno will be used to finance the work of local veterinarians and complete a training centre for the local public.

The zoo was visited by exactly 86,033 people from the beginning of January to the end of April 2018, the City of Brno press centre reported.
