Brno, Jul 1 (BD) – DoZahrad.cz promotes visiting and discovering gardens in the South Moravia, Vysočina and Lower Austria regions. Visitors to the website can browse more than 120 gardens in 12 categories, with 57 gardens in South Moravia alone.
The gardens can be filtered using criteria such as “For couples”, “For Families”, or “For Experts”. Each entry features photos, a map, information about the garden, and tips for other nearby gardens to visit. The website is available in Czech and German; the English version should be available soon.
Within the framework of the INTERREG program, Austria and the Czech Republic started the project “GrünRaum” in 2016. The project’s goal is to raise public interest in garden tourism and promote the great potential of the natural and cultural wealth of gardens and other green spaces in South Moravia, Vysočina, and Lower Austria. “Discover the stories of the local gardens and parks and become part of them. Enjoy, relax, smell and delight your senses,” the website reads.
