Brno, Dec 9 (BD) – The special Brno pre-premiere will be attended by the creative team and actors of The Glass Room and feature an exhibition of costumes from the film, designed by “Czech Lion” award-winning costume designer Katarína Štrbová-Bieliková.
The Glass Room is closely connected with Brno and its history. The film is an adaptation of Simon Mawer’s 2009 novel, which charts the history of Czechoslovakia in the 20th century, and focuses on three love stories of people who lived in Villa Tugendhat.
The cast includes high-profile stars such as Carice van Houten, Hanna Alström, Claes Bang, Alexandra Borbély, Roland Møller, and Karel Roden. Its main heroines are Liesel (Alström) and her girlfriend Hana (van Houten), who were bound together in a lifelong relationship and to one extraordinary house: Villa Tugendhat.
The premiere will take place on March 12, 2019, at 20:30 in Kino Scala. Tickets are already on sale at Ticketportal.
