Brno, July 30 (BD) – On Wednesday, Brno-střed Municipality announced completion of revitalization of one of the biggest yard parks in its territory – Křídlovická-Zahradnická park.
“The park will act as a meeting point and a green and cool place for people to escape the hot city during the summer days,” said Jasna Flamiková, Vice Mayor of Brno center district.
All paths and roads of the park were completely repaired and parts of withered grass were revitalized. Park visitors can now find a new public barbecue spot there!
Kids can enjoy a new modern and fun playground. The renovation of the park also features new facilities for dog training and entertainment. The author of successful reconstruction is architect Eva Wagnerová,
Locals could identify the strengths and weaknesses of the park and suggest on-point solutions and tips in opinion polls and public debates.
Upon the request of the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University, students and faculty staff are able to directly access the park from the faculty premises, making the park a great option for their studies and leisure time.
