Would you like to see a real battle tank or army aircraft? The biggest exhibition of defense technology in Central and Eastern Europe is coming to Brno for 3 days featuring modern military equipment, conferences, seminars, and networking events.
It is a major event in the industry. The International Fair of Defence and Security Technology (IDET) was first held in 1997; since then it’s been recognized as one of the biggest in this field in whole Europe. More than 27,000 visitors from 51 countries had the chance to join the leading show of Defense Industry of NATO countries in last years.
Representatives of 32 foreign countries such as Austria, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Russia, Slovakia and more, as well as important political and military Czech leaders will be present to the event. The main conference is supported by NATO, European Defence Agency, and AFCEA Czech Branch Office.
What to expect in this year’s IDET in Brno? 30 countries will present their military products – weapons and ammunition, battle tanks, vehicles and other means of transport, aircraft, command and communication systems, radars and radio technical systems, C4I2 systems and much more military and protection related equipment.
Various workshops will be held as a side program to the main exhibition to contribute to the complexity of the show. IDET Arena will offer attractive static and dynamic demonstrations of military, fire fighting and police equipment and give all visitors a more realistic experience.
The 14th IDET will be accompanied by two more fairs, the 9th International Security Technology and Services Fair (ISET) and the 18th International Fire Fighting Equipment and Services Fair (PYROS).
Cyber security is a fundamental topic nowadays. ISET Fair will be focused on cyber security and its importance in IT development, including presentations of technologies for protection and safety of life and property.
PYROS Fair includes an exhibition specialized for skilled professionals in fire protection, prevention and emergency assistance, focused on protection of lives and health, protection of property from fires, natural disasters and industrial accidents. A modernized plan for fire rescue will be demonstrated within the terms of the conference.
