Spring has come to Brno and decided to stay! Pleasant temperatures and mostly sunny skies will greet you this week, but be careful not to fall victim to “springtime lethargy“ – a state of tiredness, fatigue, or depression associated with this time of the year. Photo credit: Casadei Graphics
Brno, Apr 10 (BD) – The website One Mind One Breath explains that lethargy often appears with the “increased demand of energy of longer spring days“ followed by our bodies’ inability to handle this change. However, taking enough vitamins, exercising and setting up routines are good ways to avoid fatigue and enjoy all those sunny hours that spring brings us!
While today’s temperature of 18°C might not satisfy summer-lovers, Wednesday’s 20°C should be just pleasant enough for outdoor activities under partly sunny skies. The mercury will rise by about 2 degrees on Thursday, making it the warmest day of the week, while a couple of afternoon showers and a high of 19 or 20°C await us on Friday, according to AccuWeather.com.
Saturday and Sunday will stay partly cloudy, ending with a shower on Sunday afternoon, but the sunny weather is forecasted to return next Monday, with a high of 20°C.
Since spring is only in its beginning, the nights are still quite cold and usually don’t exceed 11°C, so it would be prudent to bring a light jacket if you will be staying out late.
April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
— T. S. Eliot, The Waste Land
