Brno, Apr 30 (BD) – Even though the beginning of May will not exactly surprise us with sunlight and high temperatures, we can still expect a week of relatively nice weather.

As stated by National Centers for Environmental Information, the average high and low temperatures in May are around 20°C and 9°C, with about 7 rainy days.

Is May 1 to be one of those rainy days? Luckily, no. The weather is not likely to stop you from taking the barbecues out and enjoying the holiday with family and friends.

According to AccuWeather, on May 1 the temperature should reach 23°C, with a 13% chance of precipitation. Skies should be partly sunny, but you had better keep some extra clothes on hand, as the temperature will drop to 12°C overnight.

Another positive to keep us going is the fact that the amount of daylight is increasing and, as calculated by WeatherSpark, every day will include 2 minutes and 36 seconds more daylight than the last. Use it wisely!

This week’s forecast, as per AccuWeather:

Today: 26°C / 10°C, partly sunny, a thunderstorm

Wednesday: 24°C  / 14°C, some sun, occasional thunderstorms
