Brno, May 22 (BD) – Anyone who sends in between one and five photos taken in the Brno-centre district that capture a window, balcony or front garden with beautiful floral arrangements can take part in the competition.
The competition is divided into the following categories: Window of the Year, Balcony of the Year, Front Garden of the Year, and Blooming Institution.
Last year, 28 photographers, both professional and hobbyist, sent in 77 photos. A photo of Brno University of Technology Rector’s Office at Antonínská 1 was awarded first prize for the Blooming Institution competition.
The deadline for submitting photos is September 3, and evaluation of the photos, to be done by both a jury and the public, will take place from September 4 to 18, 2018. The results will be announced at the end of September and in October.
Photos will only be accepted electronically, should be of good quality, unmodified, and preferably in the .jpg format.
