Brno, Oct 23 (BD) – Two young men engaged in the attempted robbery of a 54-year-old man sleeping in the park under Petrov cathedral, directly under the lenses of police cameras. The suspects began searching the man’s backpack. “They always stopped their thorough search of the backpack when somebody walked by. At that point, the patrols were already on their way, with a precise description of the two young men,” reported the City Police in a press release.
One police patrol intercepted the men when they went down to Bašty Street, the other patrol addressed the man and found out that he was missing papers, his cell phone and money.

Both men are “reasonably suspected of the crime of theft,” the police wrote.
