Brno, Dec 5 (BD) – An unusually bright light at Christmas markets in náměstí Svobody was caught on police camera at 22:16 pm on Monday. At the time the popular Brno’s square was almost abandoned. On average, the Christmas markets in Brno’s squares were visited by around 28,000 people a day in 2017.
“With the water stream, we extinguished the fire of the gas bottle at a mobile kiosk at 22:29,” the South Moravian Fire Department reported.
According to the Fire Department, the fire caused damage for 5,000 Czech crowns. Its cause is currently being investigated.
