Lužánky stadium will eventually be transformed into a water park. As previously announced, construction could start as early as next year. Brno councillors agreed on the plans in July 2017. The new water park will be built next to the current indoor swimming pool near Lužánky park.
The new water park, with a capacity of over 2,000 people, is due to open by 2022, with an expected cost of almost half a billion Czech crowns.
