As of Monday, visitors to Brno Tourist Information Centers can pick up the new edition of the USE-IT map, a guide for tourists and foreigners that brings together the best advice from locals. Brno, Nov 2 (BD) – “Brno is a dynamic student city with a fresh and vibrant pulse. Apart from the usual historical monuments, it offers many festivals, some of which are totally unknown. But that’s what we love about them,” write the creators of the map on their website.
USE-IT provides “no-nonsense” tourist info for young people. The annotated maps are made by enthusiastic locals, are free of charge and non-commercial. It is a combination of tips, insights and maps, made for young tourists looking for a useful and fun way to get to know a new city.
The platform has information on over 40 cities in Europe. Every city project is independent and run by active local communities, covering Prague, Brussels, Bologna, and many others.
