Boskovice, Oct 3 (BD) – On Friday, a 68-year-old man was brutally attacked by two 18-year-old men, South Moravian Police report today.
At 2 AM, the two aggressors approached the man at Boskovice’s Masaryk Square.
After a short talk, the two 18-year-old men of foreign origin started punching the senior in the face. When the man fell, the individuals started kicking him in the head, leaving him unconscious.
During incident, the individuals stole over 3.000 CZK and a bottle of beer from the victim.
According to the Police, the aggressors were filmed on CCTV. One of them was caught shortly after the attack, the other was detained two days after the incident.
“One of attackers was injured when he tried to escape and was immediately detained, the other managed to run away. He left one of his shoes and other personal belongings behind. Although the detainee did not disclose any information about his friend, the Blansko Patrol Service managed to track him down the following days,” the police spokesperson, Bohumil Malášek said in the official statement.
The attackers were both arrested and now face the charges for the crime of robbery.
