Brno, Nov 9 (BD) – Shortly before ten o’clock in the morning, the Brno police officers received a call on the Emergency Line. An anonymous voice announced that a bomb has been placed in the building of the secondary school in the Kotlářská street, which would explode within an hour.
Police officers with the help from a pyrotechnic and trained dogs searched the building, Bohumil Malášek, Brno Police spokesperson, reported. “Twenty police officers were deployed, fire and rescue services workers were also present. No explosive was found,” Malášek specified.
During the evacuation of the school building, the part of Kotlářská Street from the intersection with Kounicova Street to the intersection with Veveří Street was closed. The traffic in the area was limited for about an hour, including busy trolleybus lines 25 and 26.
