Brno, Feb 16 (BD) – One of the most prominent pop icons of the 80s is coming to Brno with a show that will take you back to the era of pop music. “Three generations of listeners meet at Modern Talking concerts,” the official description on ticket portal smstickets.cz reads.

“Germany’s most successful pop duo” (the Independent, Deutsche Welle, Stern) worked together from 1983 to 1987, when Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen split up. In 1997, they reunited and made a successful comeback that was fruitful until 2003.

Over the years, the songs of these synth-pop kings have become the subject of many mixtapes and favourites at karaoke parties.

The band’s discography on the worldwide music server Allmusic.com includes such popular hits as “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”, “You Can Win If You Want”, “Cheri, Cheri Lady”, “Brother Louie”, “Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)” and “Geronimo’s Cadillac”.

Tickets: from CZK 990
When and where: Wednesday, February 21 at 8pm at Bobycentrum on Sportovní 559/2.
