Brno, Jun 1 (BD) – Summer is just around the corner, but we have already been dealing with summer heat over the last few days. If you are thinking about doing some outdoor activities with family or friends this weekend, do not let this weekend’s variable weather discourage you.
Today – Although you can expect occasional clouds, a couple of showers and a few thunderstorms during the day, the temperatures will be quite warm, about 4 degrees above the temperature reached on the same day last year, according to accuweather.com.
If you’re thinking about having a barbecue, note that there is an extreme risk of fire because of all the recent dry weather.
Saturday – Actually, this day could be quite challenging for those looking to do some outdoor activities. The weather service accuweather.com predicts that we will witness occasional cloudy periods with a couple of showers and thunderstorms, with a possibility of flash flooding, which can occur when it rains rapidly on dry soil.
Sunday – Between intervals of cloudy and sunny skies, you may be suprised by a couple of showers and a thunderstorm. However, for the most part it will be perfect for outdoor activities. According to accuweather.com’s forecast, temperatures will be about 3ºC higher than the same day last year, reaching a temperature that feels like 30ºC, which might be a good excuse for some beer, too.
Despite the predicted daytime showers this weekend, at nights you will be able to enjoy pleasantly mild temperatures, perfect for hanging out with friends or having dinner outside with family.

Saturday – Thunderstorms. Temperature: a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C.
Sunday – Showers. Temperature: a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C.
Monday – Partly cloudy. Temperature: a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C.
Tuesday – Afternoon showers. Temperature: a high of 24°C and a low of 11°C.
Wednesday – Partly cloudy. Temperature: a high of 26°C and a low of 14°C.
